The recordings of this forced run/het zweet cassette date from '82 - '83. At that time, the group Forced Run consisted of M. van Oers and E. Haamers. Forced Run jerkily morphed into Het Zweet, a solo project by Marien. The idea behind the music of Forced Run/Het Zweet was to unconditionally incite the listener to move.

Fascinating project. Like taking water and splitting it into its elemental hydrogen and oxygen, OYC has created separate musical worlds. Mr. Horberry’s ‘Vol 1: At Variance’ evokes awakenings and the sun peeking over the horizon at dawn. At the opposite end of the spectrum, Mr. Hulme’s ‘Vol. 2: Into the Pleasure Garden,’ are darker dreamscapes and evoke midnight. You can hear how these two voices create harmony in other OYC releases, here, though they each have a turn in the spotlig the Sanguine Penguin
